South Dundas Snowsuit Fund Returns this Fall

The Municipality of South Dundas, Community Food Share and Lakeshore Drive United Church have once again partnered to provide residents of South Dundas the opportunity to take part in the South Dundas Snowsuit Fund.

The Snowsuit Fund gives residents who cannot afford winter clothing for their children an opportunity to receive a donation of new or gently used snowsuits, winter coats, mittens, scarves, etc. to keep warm during the winter months. Residents can register at the Community Food Share, located at 28 Ottawa St., Morrisburg between October 2 - 13 to be considered for a a snowsuit donation. 

Snowsuits for approved registrants will be available at the South Dundas Municipal Offices, located at 34 Ottawa St., Morrisburg, from November 6 - Decemeber 21, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am - 4:30pm. 

In order to provide assistance to as many families as possible, there will be a limit of two snowsuit donations per family. 

For those who would like to donate new or gently used snowsuits or winter clothing to be distributed in the South Dundas Snowsuit Fund, donations can be dropped off at the Municipal Offices at 34 Ottawa St. during regular business hours. Boys and girls winter clothing for all ages are accepted as long as in new or gently used condition.
