Economic Development

South Dundas is very active in economic development. It employs a full-time economic development officer responsible for marketing the municipality, business retention and expansion and working with the Township and other agencies to ensure infrastructure readiness. The Township owns two serviced industrial parks - Morrisburg and Iroquois.

The Township has a new economic development strategic plan focusing on industrial development, commercial development, tourism and agriculture. It has a community profile and data/information as it relates to the area and its local economy.
