Council

The South Dundas Council is made up of a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and three Councillors. The current term of Council was elected in the fall of 2022 and will serve until the fall of 2026. The job of a municipal council is to make decisions about municipal financing and services. The Municipality and Council are regulated by the Municipal Act which is a consolidated statute governing the extent of powers and duties, internal organization and structure of municipalities in Ontario.
