South Branch Community Fund Committee

The South Branch Community Fund Committee was established to review and consider applications submitted for funds available through the South Branch Community Fund. The Committee then makes recommendations to Council based on the reviews of the applications.

Applications will only be accepted if an intake deadline is advertised below. 

Community groups may request funding for community projects located wholly within the Community Benefit Fund Area (see Fund Agreement). Projects should promote and/or benefit:

  • Public recreation facilities and programs
  • Community gathering facilities, events and related Municipal usage fees
  • Educational and job training related to sustainability or renewable energy

Funding requests above $5,000.00 will require additional time for deliberations. Funding may be granted wholly or in part to a project. Applicants will be required to complete the project within one year.
