The 2022 Municipal Election will determine who will serve as the five Council members for South Dundas. Council is comprised of a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and three Councillors. In order to submit your name for nomination, you must have a permanent address within the Municipality of South Dundas boundary. Council serves a four-year term from November 2022 until November 2026.

October 24, 2022 Voting Day
The new Council will be sworn in to office after November 15, 2022. The Inaugural meeting as per Procedure By-Law will be December 5, 2021.

How to Vote
Anyone can vote in a municipal election who on the day of election is:
- 18 years of age or older
- a Canadian citizen; and
- either a resident of South Dundas or a property owner or tenant or the spouse or same sex partner of an owner or tenant in the Municipality during a specified time just before the election.
