It has come to our attention that scammers are using the Municipal Centre's caller ID to call residents and saying they have outstanding bills. The Municipality and your bank DOES NOT ask for any banking information over the phone.
Additionally, the Municipality WILL NOT:
- ask for personal information (for example, Social Insurance Number (SIN), health information, etc.)
- offer you money or a reward
- sign you up for a rebate program
Please be mindful of these scams and share with your neighbours.
