Updating Your School Support
As of January 1, 2024, the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, MPAC, is no longer responsible for collecting voter information for municipal elections. Voter information is now managed through the municipal election process.
MPAC continues to collect and maintain school support information for property owners in Ontario.
If you own property in Ontario, you must choose which school system you support. This applies even if you do not have children or if your children do not attend school. Your school support designation appears on your Property Assessment Notice.
You can review or update your school support designation at any time using MPAC’s Online School Support Tool.
To learn more about school support, visit the MPAC website or contact MPAC directly for assistance.
