Whether you're heading to a waterfront park or exploring our green spaces, here's a quick reminder of how we keep South Dundas parks enjoyable for everyone. Please review the full by-law.
Special rules at waterfront parks:
• No cooking appliances or open fires
• No fishing at beaches or boat launches
• Boat launching/docking at designated areas only
• No animals on the beach
• No tents or large sunshades. Single pole umbrellas are welcome.
Prohibited in all parks (including waterfront parks):
• No damaging trees, plants, or grass
• No golfing or motor vehicles
• No feeding or disturbing wildlife
• No open fires
• No nuisance or offensive behaviour
Reminders:
• Dogs must be leashed and, in the care and control of the owner at all times
• Swim only in designated beach zones
• No littering or dumping. Pack out what you pack in
• Alcohol, fireworks, amplified music & selling of goods require prior Municipal authorization
