Indigenous History Month — June is national Indigenous History Month, encouraging the opportunity to learn about the unique cultures, traditions and experiences of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
Seniors Month — June is Seniors Month in the province of Ontario. This year's theme is Working for Seniors, which recognizes the importance of seniors keeping active, well and safe in their communities.
Recreation and Parks Month — June is Recreation and Park Month (JRPM), a movement that promotes the benefits of recreation and parks for physical, social, and environmental health.
