The Municipality of South Dundas wishes to inform residents that municipal staff will be out in the Village of Morrisburg over the coming days to perform routine testing on water meter reading equipment.
This infrastructure maintenance ensures accuracy in our utility reporting system.
What Residents Need to Know:
No Home Entry Required: Staff will only be testing the exterior water meter reading pads/signals. They do not need to enter your home or business for this process.
Property Access: You may see staff briefly walking on front or side yards to access exterior meter touchpads.
Staff Identification: For your safety and peace of mind, all municipal employees will be wearing official uniform clothing and carrying municipal photo identification.
Stay Vigilant
The Municipality reminds residents that staff will never demand entry into your private home for this testing. If you are ever unsure about the identity of someone claiming to represent the town, do not let them inside. Please contact the Municipal Office directly to verify their deployment.
