The Three Musketeers at The Playhouse
Morrisburg’s Upper Canada Playhouse is offering families the chance to expose their children to a fantastic show that gives them the opportunity to be part of the action. Popular children’s theatre company DuffleBag Theatre will perform their exciting production of The Three Musketeers for the general public at The Playhouse on Saturday, October 14th at 1PM.
‘DuffleBag has been one of the country’s most popular theatre companies for young audiences for 3 decades,’ remarks Playhouse Artistic Director Donnie Bowes. ‘Children not only get the opportunity to see a wonderful show, they’ll have the chance to get involved themselves in bringing this classic story alive right on the Playhouse stage’.
DuffleBag Theatre performs over 600 shows a year across Canada, the U.S., and internationally. Their shows are not your typical, sit-down-and-watch kind of shows. They’re performed with the same sense of fun, innovation and participation that has made them popular across Canada and the world over. Each show is led by a narrator who interacts with the audience to make them part of the story and invites members of the audience to star in the show!
There will only be one public performance of The Three Musketeers, so audiences are encouraged to book this high energy and entertaining show now. The 50-min show is recommended for ages K to Grade 8. All tickets $16. There will also be a special performance on Friday, October 13th at 11AM for schools only.
