Household hazardous waste is described as materials that are corrosive, flammable or poisonous and these items must be disposed of safely in accordance with the regulations of the Municipality of South Dundas.

South Dundas participates in the Township of North Dundas hazardous waste disposal program, offering disposal services for hazardous materials for residents of South Dundas at the North Dundas Hazardous Waste Facility on select dates, 8:30 am - 11:30 am.

There are no tipping or dumping charges for the disposal of hazardous waste at the facility, however residents are required to produce identification to confirm residency in South Dundas.
