Community Living Dundas County celebrated 50 years, March 10th, and we were honored to have been part of it. Community Living Dundas County provides services and supports to adults with an intellectual disability and their families through education, accommodation support and leadership training. Having continued these services for 50 years, is an incredible accomplishment.
"For half a century, Community Living has helped build a stronger and more compassionate community. One where people are supported to live with dignity, independence, and opportunity. This success is the result of the dedication of staff, volunteers, families, and community partners who have worked together to make inclusion a reality. As we raised the flag, we were reminded of how far we have come and the importance of continuing to create communities where everyone is welcomed and valued. Congratulations on 50 incredible years, and thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Here’s to the next 50 years of inclusion and community," said Mayor Jason Broad.
