NOTICE OF UPCOMING SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT
The Municipality of South Dundas will be replacing sidewalks in your area beginning Monday, June 8, 2026. This work is being carried out by Amazing Construction.
The following sidewalks will be replaced:
Beach Avenue — Island Park Drive to Elizabeth Avenue
Approximately 850 metres of sidewalk will be removed and replaced. Accessible curb ramps (tactile pads) will also be installed at crossing points.
Miller Street — Dundas Street to John Street
Approximately 125 metres of sidewalk will be removed and replaced. Accessible curb ramps (tactile pads) will also be installed at crossing points.
During construction, sidewalk and driveway access in these areas may be temporarily unavailable. Parking will be permitted on the North Side of Beach Ave during construction. Signage will direct pedestrians safely around the work zone. We appreciate your patience while this work is underway.
