The next phase of the Morrisburg Plaza project is the replacement of the canopy post foundations.
This work is expected to begin Tuesday, September 8th, starting with the 15–16 canopy posts between Hess' Your Independent Grocer and Seaway Valley Pharmacy.
Construction fencing will be installed while crews temporarily support the canopy, remove the old foundations, and pour new ones.
What to expect:
• The angled parking in this area will be fenced off and inaccessible while work is underway. All public parking will shift north of the roadway.
• Pedestrian access to all businesses will be maintained via fenced pathways.
Canopy foundation replacements will continue eastward in sections for the rest of the season.
